Adding - Modifying - Deleting Grades

In general you need to know that teachers or administrators can add
grades. Administrators can modify any grades, HOWEVER, teachers can
only modify grades that they have personally recorded. Therefore it
is important to know who added a grade when it comes to modifying
grade information. A teacher cannot modify grades added by an
administrator or other teachers. Keeping this in mind, make sure that
you are logged-in as either a teacher or administrator and refer to
the basic instructions below.
1. Login as a Teacher or an Administrator
2. Enter the Teacher section
3. Select the button in the bottom facility menu labeled: "Grade
Book" and you will be presented with icons to: SEARCH grades, EDIT
grades, ADD grades, and DELETE grades.
4. For this example we will add grades for an existing student in the
H.S. Swedish course
5. Select the "ADD" icon
6. You will be presented with a search form to locate the student(s)
that you wish to record grades for
7. At the top of the search form you will see an animated gif button
with the words: "Click here to COURSES"
8. Click on the search by courses link to be presented with a search form
9. Perform the search: for this example, type "Swedish" into the
course text box and click the "search" button.
10. Your search results, a list of names matching your criteria, will
be displayed in the left hand frame
11. Select a student by clicking on their name
12. You will be presented with a grade form
13. If you are going to enter a number of scores for different
students for the same topic, you may wish to set your session
defaults to save yourself repeat typing
14. Select the "Set your session defaults" Link
15. Select your subject from the pop-up menu, fill-in the topic for
the grade and list the maximum score.
16. Click the "Add to Database" button to save your default settings
17. Now select a student by clicking on their name in the left hand frame
18. Enter the grade for that student (the rest of the information
should automatically appear from your default setting) and click the
"Add to Database" button to save this grade
19. You will be presented with a screen that verifies that the grade was added
20. To add a score for another student, just click on their name,
enter the grade and click the "Add to Database" button
21. Follow this procedure to finish entering grades
