Edit Create Report Cards
1. Login as a Teacher or an Administrator
2. Enter the Teacher section
3. Click on the "Report Cards" button
4. You will be presented with an option to "edit" report cards or to
just "View" report cards
5. Teachers can only "edit" report cards for the courses that they
teach, however, they can "view" all report cards
6. To edit report cards:
7. Select a report card from the "Subject" pop-up menu
8. Select yes or no in regards to the pop-up menu entitled: "Would
you like a pop-up menu?" If you select "yes" and the administrator
has defined default grade selections in the report card settings, you
will be able to select your grades from a pop-up menu in the correct
report card form
9. "Decide which term report you wish to edit by making an
appropriate selection in the pop-up entitled: "For which term 1,2,3,4"
10. Click the "Search" button
11. You will be presented with the standard search form that you can
use to locate individual students, or you can click on the "Search by
Courses" button near the top of the search form, which will present
you with a search form with your selected course as the default entry.
13. Perform your search
14. The search results will appear in the left hand column in the
form of user names
12. Click on a name to display the report card for that user
13. If this is the first time that you are modifying the report card
for this student and subject, you will be presented with the
following message: "There is no report card for this combination of
student and subject. Would you like to create a blank one?"
14. Click the "create" button, which will automatically create a
report card template for this student and subject based on the
pre-defined defaults entered by the administrator.
15. Click on the student's name again, and the report card template
will display.
16. Fill in the requisite information
17. Click "Update record" to save your information
