Uploading Deleting User Photographs

Student/User photographs can be included/displayed in the
SchoolMation solution. Since SchoolMation is web-based, all
photographs should be in .gif or .jpg format and be of an appropriate
size for fast display over an Internet connection. Many schools use a
digital camera to take student pictures or they make an arrangement
with the school photographer(s) to supply student school photos onCD-ROM.
Running a batch script in a photo editing application is usually a
fast way to resize photographs to a standard dimension appropriate
for SchoolMation use. Note: Make sure that the manager has set the
default picture directory before you upload your pictures.
1. Login as an Administrator
2. Enter the Administrator section
3. Select the "Pictures" button
4. You will be presented with a form for uploading/deleting user photographs
5. Use the pop-up menu to select the grade of the user(s) that you
wish to add a picture for
6. Click the "Reload" button
7. Choose a user from the pop-up list
8. Click the "Browse" button and navigate around your computer's file
system until you find the picture that you wish to upload
9. To save this picture, click the "Upload" button
10. Once the upload is complete, your picture will display on the
screen with a verification notice of the upload.
11. To delete a user's picture, leave the picture field blank and
click "Upload"
12. You will receive a verification notice on the screen informing
you of the deletion.
