Deleting - Deactivating Users
An Administrator can delete users individually from the system while
a Manager can delete multiple users.
Deleting a user as an Administrator:
1. Login as an Administrator or Manager
2. Enter the Administrator or Manager Section
3. Select the first button in the bottom facility menu labeled:
"Add/Modify Users" and you will be presented with icons to: SEARCH
the database, EDIT users in the database, ADD users to the database,
and DELETE users
4. Select the DELETE user icon.
5. Perform a search to locate the user(s) that you wish to delete
6. Select a username form those displayed in the left-hand frame
7. When you are certain that this is the user that you wish to
delete, click the "Yes I want to DELETE this User" Button
8. Deleting a User makes then Non Active
Deleting users as a Manager:
1. Login as an Administrator or Manager
2. Enter the Administrator or Manager Section
3. Select the first button in the bottom facility menu labeled:
"Add/Modify Users" and you will be presented with icons to: SEARCH
the database, EDIT users in the database, ADD users to the database,
and DELETE users
4. Select the DELETE user icon.
5. Perform a search to locate the user(s) that you wish to delete
6. Your search results will display in the center screen
7. Next to each user name is a "checked" box which indicates that
this user will be deleted
8. De-select any user that you do not wish to delete
9. When you are certain that your list of users to delete is correct,
click the "Yes I want to DELETE the selected user(s)" button
10. Deleting a User makes them Non Active
11. Note: It is very important that you do not delete all of the
managers, for if you do you will lock yourself out of the software.
