New services added to support our customers

Though SchoolMation is designed as a standalone product, we have had many schools request additional services such as: help with installation; configuring SchoolMation’s data fields to meet the unique needs of each school; setting up access privileges for students, parents, teachers, administrators; designing custom report cards, and more.

In response to this, we have decided to expand our team and offer a full range of optional SchoolMation services to better meet the needs of our customers. As always, general support for SchoolMation remains free.

Do you want to use SchoolMation, but are worried about installing it? Not quite sure how to configure it to work the way you want it to work? Do you want the interface to better match your school colors? Not sure how to make the report card system adjust to your unique needs? We now offer you these types of services, which allow you to quickly be up and running without any hassle. SchoolMation’s 100% web-based user interface has always been easy to use once installed and configured. You can still install and configure SchoolMation yourself, or you can get our professionals to do this for you.

It has always been our goal, as former educators, to provide a full-featured education management solution to serve as a flexible, cost-effective alternative to over-priced systems on the market. We have spent the last 7 years doing just that. SchoolMation has continued to grow in terms of overall functionality and adaptability to numerous school situations. We believe that our new professional customer care add-on services help you to get a practical customized solution that meets the unique management needs of your school, while keeping within your budget.

Below is a list of optional customer care services that we now have on offer to help you to take even more advantage of our SchoolMation offering:

1. SchoolMation installation on your server: $60
2. Customizing/modifying SchoolMation data field names to meet the exact needs of your school: $175
3. Setting access privileges and restrictions to determine what information you wish to be available to students, parents, teachers and administrators: $50
4. Setting up initial course listings (you of course must provide the names of the courses): $50
5. Setting up initial schedule (This is for entering the schedule within the system, not developing a schedule): $100
6. Developing a custom report card and report card graphic header: $200 (additional report card templates and other reports are discounted, but based on this rate)
7. Importing data from another system: prices vary depending on exact requirements and data formats
8. Anything else you can think of: contact us for a free, no-obligation quote

Please note that the prices above are a guide to let you know roughly what it costs for these services. We provide a proper quote after consulting with you and learning exactly what your unique needs and situation requires. Remember too that you do not have to pay for these services if you wish to do this set-up and configuration yourself.

Though we provide free guides on how to do these things, our experience has demonstrated that schools would rather pay a reasonable price for the security of knowing that all has been set-up correctly.
